How to: Change a scheduled Skribe event

Reschedule or cancel an event

Unexpected hiccups can occur in even the most meticulously planned schedule of any litigator, but wouldn't it be fantastic to have a tool that alleviates some of these inconveniences? When your plans change, Skribe can handle the rescheduling or even cancellation of events seamlessly.

Let's delve into how straightforward it is to modify your scheduled events in Skribe.

To cancel a deposition:

1. Log in to your Skribe account and navigate to the case where the deposition you need to cancel is included

2. Delete the deposition from the Matter

3. Navigate to your Calendar and delete the scheduled event (screenshot may differ depending on which calendar you used)

4. Please reach out to support@skribe.ai and kindly inform us that the deposition has been cancelled.

To re-schedule a deposition:

1. Log in to your Skribe account and navigate to the case where the deposition you need to re-schedule is included

2. Click on the deposition you wish to re-schedule

3. In the top right corner, select "Re-schedule Event" and make any necessary changes to the date and time.

4. Navigate to your Calendar and re-schedule the event as necessary

NOTE:

  • If you encounter difficulty selecting a new date, and it appears to be greyed out, it may be due to the Zoom link's 90-day validity period having lapsed
  • The Zoom link remains valid for 90 days from the day you initially scheduled the event, rather than the date of the deposition event itself
  • If this is the case, we recommend canceling the event and proceeding to schedule a new one

Cancellation Policy:

  • We understand that your days are often packed and deposition schedules can be unpredictable. If you ever find yourself needing to cancel or reschedule a deposition with us, kindly inform us at least one day prior to the event—there will be no charge for this service.
  • Effective from November 27, 2023, we require a minimum of 24 hours notice to modify a deposition, ensuring that you avoid a nominal charge of $99, which directly contributes to supporting our diligent Liaison team.
